Frames 03:00
There’s static on the radio But I can hear you without the music anyway, anyway And there’s geometric memories playing across my windshield But I can feel you without remembering your face Anyway, I believe I’ve digressed again so I… Better keep my eyes on the Better keep my eyes Better keep my eyes On the road The yellow lines are cracking gray But I can see you without your outlines anyway, anyway And there’s all these backwards street signs Contorted and restless and glaring But I can find you without a compass any day Anyway, I believe I’ve digressed again so I… Better keep my eyes on the Better keep my eyes Better keep my eyes On the road I don’t need a picture or a trinket or a letter To remind me It is unnecessary to pack every moment Into a picture frame All I need is the feeling I get when I see these Sparkling streetlamps without you so… I Better keep my eyes on the Better keep my eyes Better keep my eyes On the road

Home 03:12
Once in a dream I tiptoed backwards Through fields of snow so I could follow The holes in the ground back around to a place Where faces all had names attached And I could find my long lost way back home Once in a town I scooped the pennies Out of the fountain so I could borrow The wishes of those who had known where to throw Their hopes to something beautiful And I could find my long lost way back… Home isn’t home Without you it’s not, without you without you I am lost everywhere that I go Once in a crowd I reached my hand out So I could find you and like a statue You didn’t move just to prove I could lose My every sense of east and west But you would always be my way back… Home isn’t home Without you it’s not, without you without you I am lost everywhere that I go

I only smoke when I come back home You make me need something to do with my hands It’s not the same as it was before I can’t lift my eyes up off the ground You always knew, you always knew Just what to say, say, say, say Say, say, say, say But what say you now? What say you now? So now I sit on this bench next to you My hands folded quietly on my lap We used to talk here for hours until The pink dust of evening laid at our feet You always knew, you always knew Just what to say, say, say, say Say, say, say, say But what say you now? What say you now? We never thought it would end We would rather pretend We would never Have to leave You always knew, you always knew Just what to say, say, say, say Say, say, say, say But what say you now? What say you now? Now that we’re back

Wishbone 03:51
Jenny was a good girl, always tried to do her best We grew up like sisters, more than friends She taught me how to do my makeup and my hair While her parents screamed and fought downstairs What I wouldn’t give to know that you were okay How did we get this way? We started out the same before we split Just like a wishbone Wishbone I remember the first time we shaved our legs We were scared our skin would all come off And I remember being nervous to tell you that I had a crush on Kurt Cobain We tried to figure out what being girls meant What I wouldn’t give to know that you were okay How did we get this way? We started out the same before we split Just like a wishbone Wishbone And you were never good with school And I was scared to break the rules And you found drugs when I found music And you chose boys who knew how to use you And the rumors they grew bigger While you gradually got thinner I never judged you, only loved you, but Where are you now? What I wouldn’t give to know that you were okay How did we get this way? We started out the same before we split Just like a wishbone Wishbone

Pink Chalk 03:35
I took a piece, I took a piece, I took a piece of pink chalk And I drew a line, I drew a line, I drew a line Right down the middle of my sheets And I think it adds, I think it adds, I think it adds Some color to my room Don’t you? Just because we’re lying here Doesn’t mean that I should tell you all my Secrets at once Don’t worry… I will erase this line, one day at a time I will erase this line one day One day at a time I have been through, I have been through, I have been through the worst kind of violation, violation, violation Right on the middle of my sheets But I don’t think I, I don’t think I, I don’t think I Should have to tell you that now Do you? Just because we’re lying here Doesn’t mean that I should tell you all my Secrets at once Don’t worry… I will erase this line, one day at a time I will erase this line one day One day at a time My secrets are bone scaffolds that hold me up And make me who I am If I tell them to you at all once How will I stand? I will erase this line, one day at a time I will erase this line one day One day at a time

Brass 02:59
I’ve been sleeping on splinters and shards They’re getting in the spokes of my mechanical parts And I’ve stopped working And I’ve stopped working I plucked a planet from the atmosphere I snapped it from its orbit and I pulled it near So I’d stop spinning So I’d stop spinning I’d like to take my organs of metal and brass I’d melt them down down down into a golden basket For you to carry carry carry those feelings I hear humans have I’d give them all to you I’ve been giving my neighbors a fright The grinding of my gears has kept them up all night But I’ve stopped caring But I’ve stopped caring ‘Cause I’ve been waiting by my windowsill To watch you in the morning walking down my hill But you’ve stopped coming But you’ve stopped coming I’d like to take my organs of metal and brass I’d melt the down down down into a golden basket For you to carry carry carry those feelings I hear humans have I’d give them all to you I wanna rip out all my wires but I’m afraid I’d combust I wanna cry on the floor for you but I’m afraid I’d rust Please don’t blame me dear Just blame my engineer I’d like to take my organs of metal and brass I’d melt the down down down into a golden basket For you to carry carry carry those feelings I hear humans have I’d give them all to you

Cathedral 02:56
I looked through a stained glass window From inside a sinking cathedral And I could not distinguish sky from sea So I climbed the stony steeple ‘Till the water climbed up to my neck And I had to grab onto a floating pew And called out to you I looked through a high-rise window From inside your Brooklyn bedroom We laid there ‘till we could not Distinguish music Of the crickets from the birds So I climbed your iron fire escape Until the sunlight filled my eyes And I jumped onto the subway platform To forget you

Daytime 04:35
I try not to generalize But how come everyone I meet Wants to take away a little piece of me? And never give it back And never give it back I just want to watch you fall asleep And I just wanna kiss your eyes and feel them dream And I just wanna wake up once when you would still be there You don’t love me so I guess I’ll go You don’t look at me when I turn to leave You don’t wonder what I’m really like During the daytime I know my body is my own So how come I’m so tired of screaming “No God please stop don’t” - I won’t take this responsibility anymore I just want to watch you fall asleep And I just wanna kiss your eyes and feel them dream And I just wanna wake up once when you would still be there You don’t love me so I guess I’ll go You don’t look at me when I turn to leave You don’t wonder what I’m really like During the daytime I am good I am so good I am too good, baby At buttoning up my coat And bracing myself for The long walk home alone

My My My 04:11
The wide lips of wine glasses could not compare To my wide eyes as I saw you standing there After three years of painting pictures of you in my brain After climbing spiral staircases around the spine I made You are there In the street, in my mind, at the same time Which is real, which is which, Which is mine? Oh my, my, my My, my, my, oh my, My, my, my My, my, my, oh my You’ve cut off your hair and you’ve slowed down your walk But your lips still curve down to the right when you talk Of all the cities in the world, why did you pick mine? Just when I’m finally stronger than the doubt you left behind You are there In the street, in my mind, at the same time Which is real, which is which, Which is mine? Oh my, my, my My, my, my, oh my, My, my, my My, my, my, oh my Which is sweeter, the wine you pour, Or the vine that held the source from before I saw you again? And what happens when I take a sip? Oh my, my, my My, my, my, oh my, My, my, my My, my, my, oh my
